Since moving to Belgium, I had gotten so busy that I neglected myself. I was so busy looking after others that I stopped looking after myself. I mean it was so bad that I had started growing a moustache 😩😩. It finally started getting embarrassing going out and meeting people 🙈, I knew I had to do something.
I came to know Zoi beauty through Instagram. We had never met before, but we quickly became friends. We talked as if we knew each other for a long time.
I finally booked myself in for a facial with Zoi Beauty. In all honesty, I NEEDED it.
From the moment I arrived, Zoi beauty made me feel at home. The salon was already prepared, waiting for my arrival. I undressed. She gave me a white sheet (so soft by the way ;)), I covered myself and laid down.
She explained what she was doing and applying to me every step of the way which was very informative. It was so relaxing (I hadn’t felt that relaxed in a long time) that I was falling asleep. I didn’t want to leave 😂
At the end of the session, I felt so refreshed. My skin was glowing again and it felt so good looking at myself in the mirror.
My favourite part of the room was this mood board 😍 I felt so inspired myself with it.
I left Zoi beauty planning my next session already 🙂 thank you so much Zoi beauty.
If you are thinking of visiting Zoi beauty, I highly recommend it.
Have you visited her before? Let us know below in the comments what you thought about it for others 🙂

I recently shared some cupcakes that I made and by surprise a lot of people started messaging me for the recipe. So I decided to share it with you all. Now it’s nothing special. This recipe is already out there, but here we go 🙂
You will need these ingredients:
200g self raising flour
1tsp baking powder
I also like to add vanilla extract or in this case I added raspberries that were finely chopped.
How to make them, it’s very easy. I put all the ingredients in a mixer and mix until everything is nicely mixed together.
I put my oven at 180•c for 15 mins. I then use an ice cream scoop and scoop the mixture into the cupcake tins aligned with cupcake wrappers. In they go in the oven for 15 mins. I then use a kebab stick and skew into the cupcake. If the stick comes out clean then they are ready. If not, put them back into the oven for atleast another 5 mins.
Leave them to cool down on a cooling rack and make the buttercream.
For butter cream you need:
500g icing sugar
Put the butter in your mixer along with half of the icing sugar. Mix until the butter start changing colour. Then add the rest of the icing sugar and continue mixing. Add the milk and vanilla (or any flavour you like) and mix again for atleast 5 mins. And it’s ready 🙂
Now just pipe the buttercream onto the cooled cupcakes and top with fruit. I used a wilton 1M to pipe the roses. Enjoy!!!

She’s 1. Hip hip! Hoera!!! Her 1st birthday was just round the corner when we did her cakesmash photography. We did this so she can have her first taste of cake. She didn’t have cake before this day, and what better way to celebrate than having cake for your birthday. Am I right 😉?
We started with 1st birthday Portraits. I wanted to get some clean photos before she digged into the cake to catch her real emotions. And boy did she deliver 😍😍
It was not easy, beleive me 😂😂 just these 5 photos took us nearly 15 minutes of going back and forth. All she wanted was to get her hands on the cake.
After the portraits we moved to the cakesmash photography.
I was expecting a very big mess just like her sister, but nope!!! She ate it so modestly 😂😂 no smashing hard, and cut the pieces and right into her mouth they went. You would think she knew what it was already. But I guess everything goes in the mouth at this age.
But she still delivered. I love her curiosity in her eyes, she looked very happy eating the cake that she gave me a few big smiles!
After the cakesmash, it was time for a bath. She already loves taking baths so this was very easy (the hard part is the cleaning after 😩).
She’s always loved taking baths and I absolutely loved it too seeing her expressions and being her cheeky self. I got to make moments that will never be replicated into memories.
I’ve got to print the photos now and I’m thinking an album will be great for this so she can look back on her memories when she’s older. I can’t wait to show you all the album 😍😍😍.
To book your own session, please contact us atleast 2/3 months before your child’s first birthday in order to plan the best session for you 🙂 and if a cakesmash is not for you, there’s always other ways to celebrate your child’s 1st Birthday.

I’ve joined BANPAS
As a newborn and baby photographer, I have to take the safety of my little clients very seriously.
It might surprise you to know that the newborn photography industry is completely unregulated. Photographers like me, who take safety seriously, have to take it upon ourselves to be trained and educated on how to ensure the beautiful images we create, are done safely.
For example when you see a beautiful image like this
You may be forgiven for thinking that the baby here was unsupported, but actually I created this image using 2 different images, and a spotter.
Here are some of the ‘before’ images used to create the final portrait.
Being a newborn and baby photographer requires a unique set of skills and there is a worldwide organisation that exists to support photographers like me, who want to have access to safety training and resources that we can use to provide clients like you with a better service.
I’m delighted to have joined BANPAS (Baby &Newborn Photography Association) http://www.banpas.co.uk/banpasforparents and you will be able to find me on their directory of photographers here https://www.findthebestphotographer.com/member/tharwa-said-photography. They also have a fabulous facebook page for pregnant and new parents here https://www.facebook.com/BANPASforparents
I’d be delighted to chat to you about how I can create a beautiful gallery of images for your newborn and very happy to chat to you about how I do that safely. Please contact me for booking and availability information.

4 Generatie Fotoshoot Sessie
Nadat alle familiefoto’s klaar waren, hebben we Little Nick’s pasgeboren fotosessie alleen gedaan.
Ik moest wat detailfoto’s maken, het is tenslotte wat we zullen missen als we ze zien en onthouden.

His 1st Birthday Cake-smash
Muhammad’s mum called me to book in for his 1st Birthday Cake-smash session. Unfortunately she left it a bit last minute to book in and I was completely fully booked for that month already.
A few other of similar style to me photographers were also fully booked and couldn’t book them in. Luckily one of my bookings had to reschedule due to an illness and I managed to fit them in.
We went with a very simple yet cute setup due to the time we had. A blue sky with clouds and an Ombré blue cake.
Muhammad loved smashing the cake.
After a smash we have a splash 🙂
And boy did he love that even more. He splashed everywhere which gave us great results 🙂
His mum was very happy with the outcome. And I’m so glad I was able to fit her in because she will have these memories to keep forever. They grow up so fast and all they will have left are these memories.
If you would like your own cake-smash session, book in ASAP to avoid disappointments.
